what color?

in tearing off the vinyl, this was the previous color.

we kinda like it!

sometimes, its hard to not be consumed by things like,

what color should we paint the house?

its so far away...( sigh).

the windows were on both sides of this existing window! hidden inside the wall! the just built right over them. we were super stoked. we re going to reuse them elsewhere!

the goal:

to rehab this very loved home. our mission, in keeping with our values we strive for in daily life, is to be as "green" as we can. we are not perfect and do not claim to be the best at being "green", but we do try very hard to walk softly on this earth. in renovating our home, we want to keep as much out of the landfill as possible. we want to use recycled products when we can. we want to use earth friendly products when we can. we want to reuse as much as possible. its going to be a challenge. we are going to have to be creative! but i think we are up for it!
