side project

one of the biggest adjustments about going urban is the loss of a yard. we mourned it, for sure and are now ready to commit to street parking, dog walking and container gardening.
when we bought the house we were surprised by this little hidden nook in the back right hand corner of our yard. it makes the backyard much bigger. so in order to maximize the size of our yard and add space for our shared driveway, we had some demo-ing and landscaping to do.

i never knew just how amazingly fun tearing stuff up is!! i thoroughly enjoyed this project! slingling that hammer and kicking stuff over...good times! ha!

so now we at a bare minimum have an awesome garden spot and a place to keep the prius off the street!
