hurray, they are here!!!!!! our shiny new whirlpool washer and dryer

fyi, one of the few appliance companies still making their products in america

simple solutions to a crappy economy. duh.

oh, oops, sorry i got swept away by my soap box! get it?? haha! soapbox???)

anyhoo, and they are super energy efficient.

god, you know you are getting old when nothing makes you happier than a washer and a dryer!

the goal:

to rehab this very loved home. our mission, in keeping with our values we strive for in daily life, is to be as "green" as we can. we are not perfect and do not claim to be the best at being "green", but we do try very hard to walk softly on this earth. in renovating our home, we want to keep as much out of the landfill as possible. we want to use recycled products when we can. we want to use earth friendly products when we can. we want to reuse as much as possible. its going to be a challenge. we are going to have to be creative! but i think we are up for it!
